Still & Gif from Burgage Project, 2021

Freddie Sanders is an artist and freelance creative currently based in London. His work lies at the intersection of digital technologies and storytelling, exploring questions around ecology, land ownership and online culture. In recent years Freddie’s practice has involved the use of video game engine software, photogrammetry and AI, adopting these technologies so as to explore their potential for new artistic processes and methodologies. He is a current Fine Art MA student at the Slade School of Fine Art and is involved in curating exhibitions and live events.

Freddie works with video game engines and film to explore the transcendental potential of digital technologies. Narrative and world-building practices become the core approach to exploring personal, ecological and bodily transformation through the euphoric excess of virtual spaces.
